A watchlist is a list of securities being monitored for potential trading or investing opportunities. Essentially, it helps you track companies while staying on top of news that could affect them.

With Benzinga Pro, you have the ability to create as many watchlists as you would like. Some users organize them according to category or sector to make it easier to monitor, but you have the ability to organize them whatever way works best for you.

If you are starting out with a fresh workspace, your screen will look like this.

If you are starting out with a fresh workspace, your screen will look like this At the top, you will see a widget titled "Watchlist."

Clicking this will bring you to a new page that allows you to use the top search bar to add securities.

Once you add the symbol or name to the search bar, it will appear and you will simply press enter or return on your keyboard to add it to your watchlist.

You have successfully added your first security to your watchlist.

You can also name your watchlists to make it easier to identify for yourself. To do this, you will want to spot the pencil which means you are about to edit.

After you click the pencil, you will be able to type in the desired name of the watchlist.

To delete a ticker from your watchlist, simply right click on the ticker you want to delete.

A menu will appear and you can successfully remove the selected ticker from your watchlist.
