A Widget is one of the top ways users can manipulate and customize the Benzinga Pro platform. Here at Benzinga, we commonly refer to the Widgets as Tools!

A user can have up to 4 Widgets or Tools per workspace for space reasons.

The Widgets/Tools are:

Newsfeed:  Real-time news wire customizable by SOURCES (BZ Wire, BZ Signals, Press Releases, SEC, Partners, etc) CATEGORIES (Earnings/Guidance, IPOs, Analyst Ratings, Rumors, Trading Ideas, Exclusives, etc), SECTORS (Tech, Healthcare, Financials, etc), WATCHLISTS, tickers and keywords.

Details: Further details of a security can be found. In addition to being able to view company financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement), fundamental ratios, market cap, etc can be found. The Details widget also offers users in depth charting.

Calendar:  A suite of data via tables. Includes Earnings, Guidance, IPOs, Analyst Ratings, Economic Data, Offerings, Retail Sales

Watchlist : A user can build a portfolio of stocks they are watching. Users can label these watchlists for quick access and switching between at a later time.

Movers:  A proprietary system built by Benzinga which tracks price action in thousands of stocks multiple times per second. When a stock sees dramatic price action over a selected duration, the stock will automatically appear on Movers. Note: Movers was previously called Screener.

Signals: Signals are price or volume related events in stocks. New signals are added in real-time, triggering any notifications that have been set. BZ Signals contains a small subset of heavily filtered signals. By using this tool, you can create custom filters and notifications to receive the signals you want.
